This workshop will include didactic and experiential components as a means of understanding and utilizing metaphor and narrative to create change in psychotherapy groups. An emphasis will be placed on how our personal stories and their symbolism shape and promote growth and resistance in groups. This workshop will draw from the psychoanalytic work of Jacques Lacan.
